Impressive students Oly Stryjek, Nathan McLaughlin, Brent McLaughlin, Joe Wainwright, James Shaw, Nick Collinson, Ben Tomlinson lasted the whole 12 hours of play, from 8am to 8pm. Joe was the star striker of the day scoring 58 goals throughout the game which lasted eight times longer than a professional football match.
Jake Edwards, Sports Maker at West Cheshire College who organised the event, said: “We decided to hold the 12 hour football match as it was something all students and even members of staff could get involved in.
“Playing football for 12 hours was really tough but the students gave it their all and really pushed themselves.
“The match was a great success and all of the students who took part should be extremely proud of themselves.”
