West Cheshire College is delivering a free mentoring training programme for Managers and Supervisors looking to refresh and improve their skills.
The multi-purpose course will address the skills of new managers as well as senior managers and directors to develop managerial skills and has been proven to create positive results for a business.
New Managers will receive expert tips on how to thrive in their role and get the most out of their team whilst Senior Managers and Directors will have the opportunity to refresh and build on their existing management skills.
Phil Ratcliff, ESF Project Manager at West Cheshire College, said: “The free mentoring training is a great opportunity for new or recently promoted Managers to develop their skills and have a positive impact on their business.
“When it comes to training within a business, Senior Managers and Directors sometimes get overlooked but it is essential for businesses to embrace mentoring throughout their organisation to realise its full potential.”
The training, which includes confidence building, induction programmes and conflict resolution, will help to increase staff motivation and retention, have a positive impact on business profitability as well as improve team building skills and management skills.
Training will be delivered by established industry professional, Janice McNamara. Janice has a proven record of delivering training that improves communication, builds trust, focuses the direction and priorities of a team to strengthen performance, as well as increase productivity in the workplace.
Training is free for SMEs in Cheshire and Warrington with fewer than 250 members of staff.
