If you want to pursue a Higher Education course, you can access financial support.
Tuition Fee Loan
Tuition Fee Loans are available to students who need to pay tuition fees before or during their course. Repayment of the loan follows the completion of the course and is based on a minimum level of earning.
Maintenance Loans are available to help with living costs. They attract a very low rate of interest and are available to anyone who has a personal liability for fees. The amount you receive depends on your income and that of your family and the amount of Maintenance Grant you are receiving.
19+ Advanced Learning Loans
19+ Advanced Learning Loans are available for learners aged 19 and over, studying at Level 3 or Level 4, including QCF Certificates and Diplomas, Access to HE and Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships.
Maintenance Grants are non-repayable and available to learners from lower-income households. How much grant you receive will depend on your income and that of your household. Call: 01244 656200 for the current amounts available and eligibility guidelines.
Bursaries are sometimes offered by universities to full-time students applying for certain degree programmes. Please contact the university directly for information.
